When a little feels like a lot!

“Better a little with fear of the Lord than great treasure with turmoil” Proverb 15:16.

Growing up without much has caused me to feel very appreciative of the little I have today. Having the Holy Spirit living within me makes me feel joyful, content and rich in favor. What more can my heart desire? Though to some I may not have much- for me He is more than enough. And a little sure feels like a lot! 🌷

Thank you Lord for the little that feels like a lot. Help us to keep our eyes focused on you and all that you ask us to do. Remind us that as we commit our activities to you, our plans will succeed (Proverbs 16:3). We ask all these things in Jesus’ mighty name.

Daughter of the King!

“You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows” Psalm 23:5.

Sometimes I lose my way–allowing the trials and tribulations of today to rob me of my joy and peace. Oh Lord what a painful place to be! In my despair– I call out onto my King. With just a whisper, you calm all of my storms. You remind me of whose I am, I am yours–Chosen; Loved; Handpicked and Equipped.

Thank you Lord for the trials and tribulations that help me to feel you so close. If being in your presence comes through pain, the loss is worth the gain. That I may find favor in the sight of your eyes, is the prize for which I strive. And when once again the storms begin to brew within me—may I remember I am a Daughter of the King!

God’s Plan!

Jeremiah

“Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” Proverbs 19:21

Ever find yourself struggling to get time in to spend with God? Kids woke up earlier than you had hoped? You overslept this morning? Hungry children, chores awaiting, physical goals in progress, the demands of work or that new business you’ve been working so hard to launch, laundry piling…The many demands of life are Real. Today I urge you to take a moment to “be still” before the Lord. Lock yourself in that quiet room or area and take a moment to soak up the peace of His presence. For He knows every desire of our anxious little hearts and He is rewarder of those who diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6). Allow God to direct your steps!

Heavenly Father,

Today I pray for every person reading this post that may be struggling with juggling a heavy load while seeking to do your will. Holy Spirit please guide us and teach us how to surrender our will to yours. Replace all of our anxious thoughts with peace, clarity and understanding. Help us to be intentional with our time–truly trusting and believing that as we seek you first….everything else will fall into place. May your perfect will be done in each one of our lives…for we know the plans you have for us are “good” and we trust you!

Won’t God do it!!!

“So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s” (Romans 4:16, NLT).

There is something very magical about being able to read a scripture you have heard, read and recited multiple times–yet this time you get it. This time it make sense and comes alive, this time it speaks to your heart and your current situation in big letters and in bold. This time, right here, right now…this word is speaking to Me…..God’s word speaking directly to my heart and my current needs. 💙

Thank you Lord–I’ve seen you move mountains in the past and I believe you will do it for me once more. ✨👑✨

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him” (Hebrews 11:16, NIV).

Hungering for God’s Favor

Let them know that it is your hand, that you, Lord, have done it. Psalm 109:26-27 (NIV)

Lord, may your favor open new doors--may it pour upon me as never before. May your favor reveal to me the road I should take–may your favor renew and strengthen me on this day. May your favor overwhelm me with your love–may you pour down a double portion from above. Thank you Lord for all of the situations and circumstances that bring me to my knees–best positioned to receive your favor and win my Victory!

May the world know that it was your hand that rescued me. 💜

Taking the Leap

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” Proverbs 3:6.

Heavenly Father,

I ask that tonight you speak a word of confirmation to all those in need of direction. Help us to block out all of the loud and irrelevant noise– that we may be able to hear that still small voice. We know that you would never lead us astray and above all there is still power in the name above all names–King Jesus please continue to make a way, where there seems to be no way. We love you Lord and in Jesus’ name we pray.

Obedience will take you places you could never ask, dream or imagine! 🌵🦋🎍

The Lord who sustains me!

“You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do turn” Psalm 18: 35-36, NIV.

Heavenly Father,

Oftentimes I reminisce on the simpler days I used to live. Please help me Lord to always remain content, wise and strong. Although my feet stumble you don’t allow me to fall. You uphold me with your mighty right hand. You gently whisper into my heart–reminding me who You say I Am. Your beloved daughter, called and equipped, prepared for spiritual battle, positioned and chosen for such a time as this! My I continue to find favor in your eyes–all the days of my life. Lord please keep me feet from slipping or wandering astray–in Jesus’ precious & mighty name I pray! 💙

The Impossible

“And without faith it is impossible to please God” Hebrews 11:6, NIV.

Believing God for the impossible has allowed me to experience the impossible. I’ve had people chuckle, laugh and doubt at things that I was believing God about. But I’ve learned that it is okay for not everyone to understand–what God has spoken into our hearts about His plans. Believing God for promises so big I can barely sleep–because I know He will fulfill all that He has promised me.

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living” Psalm 27: 13, NIV. 🌺🌸🌷🌼🌻

Meditating on the Promises

“But Mary kept all these things like a secret treasure in her heart. She thought about them over and over
Luke 2:19. 💜

Lord, You have never made a promise you did not keep–meditating on your promises even as I sleep. Lord if you may, please speak to me tonight and instruct on the words I am to write. May the words that you speak through me help to change and transform lives as you did with mine. I will tell of your goodness all the days of my life. For there was loss of hope–but then God spoke! 🦋🌵🎍

More than the eyes can see

“I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken” Psalm 16:7-8 NIV.

There are some journeys in life that we must walk through on our own, yet we must not fear because He promises to never leaves us alone. And if today you find yourself torn, overwhelmed or broken, I encourage you to medicate on the words that He has spoken.

Has He been faithful in the past? Is He not able to do again once more? So much more in store than our eyes can see, according to your faith may it be that you receive. 💜
